Terrain at Styer’s: See you There Sunday!

Rev your engines! This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The official start of Houseplant Season. Hooray! And I’ll be giving it a warm welcome at Terrain at Styer’s in Glen Mills, PA (www.shopterrain.com) on Sunday October 21, 2012 from 10:00 -11:30 AM for a Houseplant Workshop with indoor gardening demonstrations, advice, help, and hand-holding. I’ll be making very cool combo containers with Terrain’s extraordinary components. And I’ll be signing books of The Unexpected Houseplant. Come on over!

I was very happy to discover your blog which talks about houseplants. I’m addicted to them! I look forward to reading your future posts and buying your latest book about houseplants! Any way a fan can get a signed copy? I live in Wisconsin. Thanks, Tovah!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Angelo. Bet you’ve also noticed that not only are houseplants the solution to the winter blahs, but they entertain all year. What’s better than waiting for a rare begonia to make a fuzzy new leaf? Rather than asking you to send a book, tell you what = why don’t we wait until I’m lecturing in your area and then I’ll sign it when we see each other. That’s the most fun! I’ll keep you posted when I’m in the ‘hood.

Hi Tovah! Thanks so much for visiting Terrain. Maisie is your newest fan! I’m half way through the new book and am feeling pretty inspired. I posted about it today!

What a wonderful day, Heidi! And it was so much fun to meet you — and Maisie! I’m seeing a budding gardener in Maisie — after she overcame her initial hide-behind-momma shyness, she seemed to be spellbound. What’s more fun than meeting virtual friends in the real world? And THANK YOU for the blog post! What fun! Thank you for documenting the Terrain demonstrations on film. I’ll keep you posted on future happenings.
