Tovah~ I’d have to get a B-12 shot to keep up with you! Went to the Phila Flower Show Monday the 5th and had a wonderful time. I’m still sore and tired from being on my feet for 6 1/2 hours non-stop. Unfortunately, won’t be able to return to Phila for your lecture on the 10th. Hope you have a wonderful crowd, though. I’ll have to wait to see you in September at Linden Hill when you come to do your terrarium workshop again. Lisa 🙂
Didn’t you just loooove the show? Especially the PHS veggie garden = I met John Storey (the fellow who does the forcing for the show) and he said that the kohlrabi was the toughest Everest for him. Did you see Linden Hill’s booth? Talk about knock ’em dead gorgeous and talk about snowdrops galore (in terrariums and vintage glass = guess who he got that idea from). Went last week for a preview, I’ll be back on Saturday to lecture and meeting my sister and niece there…Can’t wait!
I think my favorite booth was Linden Hill’s booth…I wanted to live there! Wished I had my Honda CRV parked right outside the door because I would have purchased half of their booth! Between the terrarium plants, great glass enclosures, hellebores, and snowdrops~ it was just an outstanding original booth. Hope you have a great family visit on Saturday~ Lisa
My only regret is that I’m traveling by train. How many plants do you suppose I can fit into a carry-on suitcase? I’ll let you know in a couple of days…Watch out Philly! Miss Piggy is on her way…
